🎓 Graduation Day in the Camps: A Celebration of Hope 🎓

WalkWithMe.global

Dear friends,

There are moments that feel like the world is finally tilting in the right direction. This past week was full of those moments.

We watched with tears in our eyes as our refugee students—many of whom arrived years ago with no access to schooling, no home, and no hope—walked across the stage in their graduation gowns. Laughter, cheers, and cake filled the air. These young women earned graduation against all odds. It is always one of the proudest days of our year.

But this is more than a graduation. This is a declaration of dignity.
An announcement to the world that displacement is not the end of a story—especially when education steps in.

Our classrooms are often simple. The walls are thin, the chairs mismatched. But what happens inside is powerful. Children are learning to read for the first time. Teenagers are preparing for university. Mothers are daring to believe they, too, can grow and lead. Education is the first true taste of freedom for so many of them.

And yet—
We’re at a critical point:
We are completely out of funds for these projects.

If we don’t raise support quickly, these programs will stall. Classrooms will go quiet. Students will be turned away. And the momentum we’ve worked so hard to build will slip through our fingers.

We never want to send a child home because we couldn’t raise the money in time.
We never want to cancel a term because we didn’t have enough to pay our local teachers.
And we never want to stop this beautiful cycle of hope.

If you’ve given before—thank you. Truly. This is your legacy.

If you’ve been waiting to jump in—this is the moment.
Please, consider donating today. Every dollar fuels another dream, another diploma, another story of restoration.
